Q: today was my first day and the lady never showed me how to clock in so tomorrow i will be totally lost... you know what i didnt ask for no damn critique this is my first job where i had to do this and she didnt show me how to do it! thanks ne way to the one that told me!

A: Tomorrow when you get there ask for your clock in number. Don't be scared to ask things because otherwise you may not end up getting any pay. When I first started and was on training I didn't have to clock in for the first few shifts and they kept track of it for me, though my friend who works at a different Mcdonalds was told to clock in from the day he started so its all different. The machine to clock in your number is also different for restaurants too but these are just the basics: 1. you are given a number [usually 3 numbers long, eg: 325]' 2. Clock in exactly when your rostered to start [ask someone to show you] 3. Clock out exactly when your rostered to finish, and ask if you need help there [Also some Mcdonalds use a card, so its all different--get help from your trainer or manager] Mcdonalds is a great place to work at :) and if your new there's always someone to help xx
