Q: were unhappy with the food and sent it back? How often did you do it?
A: That is so nasty! It is illegal as well ! No! I never did that; never thought of doing that. Put yourself in their place. You pay a lot of money to eat out. You want the food the way you ordered it. The customer is your boss while there. They give a tip for good service. I was a waitress for years and I have also been a customer. Look at it from both points of view. The unhappiness is not with the waitress it is with someone not listening and communicating well enough to hear what the customer wants. Yes, there are mean, grouchy people; that no matter what you do you can not make them happy. Don't take it personal; they are just unhappy people. Don't bring yourself down to their level; they are trusting you. Would you want them to do it to you?
