Q: why is it that wen i call to pizza hut or papajohns or whereever they always ask me first for my telephone number ??? i mean why ??????
A: Thank You for asking this question! It's something I need to do more often. Where I work everything is done through the computer. So when customers call their name, address & phone number come up automatically. I'm from a small town so we don't have too many problems, but we are also the only pizza place in town. So I can understand why they ask you for your number, it's to verify that it's you calling and not some prankster. Which we have had as well. I've been working in the Pizza business for 14 years and never thought of doing this. Again Thank-You!! ET
