A: Depends on where you are...I was reading a BBC expose on this where waiters and waitresses in London restaurants were getting less than half of the tip the restaurant added to the bill...the reporters that interviewed the management of these places were told that it went from everything from the dishwasher to worker's retirement funds...in essence though...it went straight to management's pocket.
