Q: how long does it usually take for you to do your sidework?

A: I work in a small town in PA, and I make around $50-$60 a day in tips. It all depends on the weather, if something is going on in town, etc. I make $2.83 an hour. It takes me about a half an hour to do side work. That's rushing things. And we do other side work throughout the day too. Now if there is a big snowstorm, I might make $25 on day shift. It's hard to analyze what waitresses make, with the different populations of cities and towns. It also depends on what type of restaurant you work at, day or night, who you may have to pay a percentage of your tips to, such as a bartender or a busboy. But we don't have any of that.
