Q: Does anyone know a resturant in the Winnipeg area that serves raspberry tartufo?
A: I am a former chef and never really worked in Winnipeg as you say, I did have a training progam at the old Fort Gary Hotel in the 1980's while with CP Hotels, and when I was there for a visit in 2002, I did go to a number of Italian (style) restaurants with it on the menu, it is something they bring in as it is hard to make by hand, I would check with the better Italian places, and there may even be a specialty store you could pick some up in, ask the restaurant were they get theres, most gourmet food store might have them.
